EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH,
EVERY MONTH.

Meet Sir, my most valued helper. He is my senior lynx point tabby, outfitted with the body of a ✨rectangle✨ and zero thoughts behind those eyeballs.

Sir is involved in the inspiration and design of the business socials and provides all the good wavelengths. He helps announce news, open books, and keeps things looking adorable. You can spot in him in my Instagram stories and you will also see him in many sticker and flash designs.

ABOUT ME

My name is Whitney, most people call me Whit. I’m from small town Nebraska and grew up on an agriculture farm an hour south of Omaha. My brother and I ran through itchy corn, wrestled in mud, touched live cattle fences, picked up roadkill, and played on defuncted combines.

I have very early memories of drawing, specifically one where I had an existential crisis when I realized I could sharpen a crayon into oblivion. I started focusing on drawing as a hobby around fourth grade and drew daily throughout my childhood. When I finished high school I immediately looked for an apprenticeship while working as a pharmacy technician for two years. I apprenticed at a walk-in shop and worked there for five years before starting Cat’s Claw.

I am licensed as a tattoo artist in the state of Nebraska, my license info can be found on the DHHS site here (license No. 676). I have been tattooing as a full time career since 2017.
